Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use ExoWorld. By creating an account, you agree to them. ExoWorld is provided by Darko Jačmenjak, Križevci, Croatia.

Who can use ExoWorld

You must be at least 16 years old. You are responsible for keeping your password safe and for everything done with your account.

Your content

Everything you add – animals, records, notes and photos – stays yours. You give us permission to store and show it to you only so that the app can work. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use.

Not veterinary advice

ExoWorld helps you keep records. Care information, feeding schedules, reminders and species data are general guidance and may be incomplete or wrong. They are not veterinary advice. For illness, injury or an emergency, always consult a qualified veterinarian or specialist. You remain responsible for the care and welfare of your animals and for following the laws on keeping them.

Venomous and dangerous species

ExoWorld lets you record venomous and potentially dangerous animals, such as Old World tarantulas and scorpions. Keeping, handling and breeding them is at your own risk. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for bites, stings, injuries, damage or legal problems that come from keeping or handling any animal.

Species data

Species lists come from public scientific sources, which are credited in the app. Names and classifications can change over time.

Free plan and Premium

The free plan includes every feature for up to 10 active animals. Premium removes this limit. Subscriptions will be sold through the App Store or Google Play, under their payment and cancellation terms; the price and any trial are shown before you buy.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the app. In particular, do not:

• use it to support illegal wildlife trade, or the capture, purchase or sale of protected species (including CITES-listed species) against local or international law;
• try to access other users’ data or disrupt the service;
• copy, reverse engineer or extract the app’s code or its species database;
• use it for anything else that is unlawful.

Availability and liability

We work to keep ExoWorld running and your data safe, but the app is provided as it is, and we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses or for losses caused by relying on information in the app. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time in Profile › Delete account. We may suspend accounts that seriously break these terms.

Changes and law

If we make important changes, we will tell you in the app. These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Croatia.
